Hospitals, restaurants, pubs, clubs shopping centers, sporting grounds, planes and trains. They have no problem not smoking at these places and we should be asking why? If the craving for nicotine is the cause of smoking. We need to look at the habit of wanting the cigarette as the cause of craving. If a person stops wanting the cigarette because they can’t have one, the craving isn’t there. The habit of wanting the cigarette creates the craving for it. If we see a want as fear in the mind that we can’t be happy until we get what we want. Then we can see the want as a fear of lack. It is this fear and its associated release of chemicals in the body is probably responsible for the craving. This is probably why not wanting the cigarette when you can’t get it stops the cravings.
